Un ícono de integración

Some say the cachito was created by a Portuguese migrants in Venezuela to substitute the croissant, which was difficult to bake due to the country's climate. Others say the cachito was invented by another Portuguese migrant using leftovers from "pan de jamón", a traditional Christmas bread in Venezuela. More than a sweetish and delicious bun filled with ham, it is a symbol of integration and resilience. The cachito became a favorite breakfast for Venezuelans.
